Our goal, at Mancy’s Haitian Folktale Collection, Inc., is that with generated -tax deductible- funds received from sponsors, supporters of literacy, we will able to distribute our bilingual books -for free- to underprivileged children in the U.S. and abroad, starting with Haiti. We are contemplating their translation in different languages.
Our books are based on Haitian folklore and written in English and Creole, therefore useful as reading/teaching tools in the classrooms. Additionally, each story not only entertains, but educates and instills moral values on various life lessons that children can relate to in any culture.
